            For the second straight game, Central Square will face off against Auburn. The Redhawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Maroons  at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Central Square has three straight  victories, Auburn has three straight  losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Central Square's pitching crew heads into the  contest  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Wednesday. They blew past Auburn 8-0. Considering the Redhawks have won three games by more than seven  runs this season, Wednesday's  blowout was nothing new.

 Caytlin Redeye made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   keeping things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out 15 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double.
 In other batting news,  Payton St.Clair was  incredible,  going 3-for-5 with two  doubles, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. Those  RBI marked the first that  she has  brought in this season. Another player making a difference was  Savannah Staats, who  went 2-for-4 with two  runs.
 Central Square  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 13  hits. That's the most  hits they've managed all season.
 The  win  got Central Square back to even at 4-4. As for Auburn, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
