Taft has gone a perfect 5-0 against Sotomayor recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Taft Raiders will challenge the Sotomayor WILDCATS at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Taft sitting on 12 straight wins and Sotomayor on three.

Taft can't be too worried about heading out to take on Sotomayor: they just beat Warren at home, who had been dominant on their own pitch up to that point. Taft came out on top against Warren by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Sotomayor kept a clean sheet against Stevens on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 4-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the WILDCATS, who have now won ten games by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Stevens with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Carley Ortiz, Averi Emery, Rebecca Moeller, and Emma Reyes.

Taft's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those seven contests. As for Sotomayor, their victory bumped their record up to 13-4.

Taft beat Sotomayor 2-0 in their previous matchup back in January. Will Taft repeat their success, or does Sotomayor have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
