Basketball Recap: Hodgson Vo-Tech Find Success

Hodgson Vo-Tech proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by 28) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Odyssey Charter Owls 56-53.

Hope Smith was the offensive standout of the matchup as she posted 20 points. Kaniyah Melvin-Mcneill was another key player, putting up ten points.

Hodgson Vo-Tech's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Odyssey Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hodgson Vo-Tech will square off against St. Georges Tech at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be the Eagles' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Odyssey Charter, they are taking a road trip to challenge Middletown at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
