Basketball Recap: Academy of Aerospace and Engineering Comes Up Short

Academy of Aerospace and Engineering and Sheehan squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Academy of Aerospace and Engineering had to settle for second. They took a 74-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sheehan Titans.

Academy of Aerospace and Engineering has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-4 record this season. The win was the fourth in a row for Sheehan, bringing their record for this year to 9-12.

Academy of Aerospace and Engineering does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sheehan, they will face off against New Fairfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sheehan has given up an average of 64.9 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
