Football Game Recap: St. Joseph vs. River Oaks

On Friday, St. Joseph put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They were fully in charge, breezing past River Oaks 44-7. That result was just more of the same for St. Joseph, who also won the last time these teams played.

St. Joseph started the matchup off right with 16 first-half points. Meanwhile, River Oaks couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 16-0 heading into the break. The St. Joseph defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 7 and all but finishing the game. The win bumped their record up to 4-1. The defeat dropped River Oaks' record to 2-3.

St. Joseph will look to defend their home turf next week against Hillcrest Christian at 7:00 PM. As for River Oaks, they will face off against Deer Creek.
