Baseball Recap: Carson Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Carson's offense. They fell 4-0 to the Banning Pilots on Monday. The Colts were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pilots apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Carson saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joziah Agredano, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Carson is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8. As for Banning, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-3.

Looking ahead, Carson will square off against Narbonne at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Narbonne has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.5 runs per game on average), something Carson will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Banning, they will face off against San Pedro at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Banning's pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so San Pedro's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
