After a string of six wins, Logan's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Strongsville Mustangs.

Addie Henestofel paced Logan's offense, picking up 11 kills. Henestofel got some help from Lila Kern and her 23 assists. Kern was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Logan's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Strongsville, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Logan and Strongsville should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Chieftains (ranked 109th) will meet Fort Frye (ranked 266th) at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Strongsville will take on Lorain at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (79 vs. 458).
