Volleyball Recap: DuPont Manual Takes a Loss

DuPont Manual was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ryle Raiders. If the Crimsons were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Raiders when the teams met back in October of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

DuPont Manual's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Ryle, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

Coming up, DuPont Manual will welcome Ballard at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ryle, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Mother McAuley on the 12th.
