Football Recap: Whitmire Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Whitmire was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost to the McCormick Chiefs on the road by a 22-6 margin. The Wolverines were not able to make up for their defeat to the Chiefs from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Kaden Malpass threw for 79 yards and one touchdown. Ayden Hopp was his top target, picking up 42 receiving yards. On the ground, D'Angelo Ruff rushed for 85 yards.

Whitmire's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for McCormick, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-7.
