Volleyball Recap: Versailles Comes Up Short

Versailles was the 2-0 winner over Hallsville when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell 2-0 to the Indians on Saturday. Tigers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Indians since Saturday.

Hallsville was led to victory by Makenzie Lucas and Tatum Spry. Lucas had seven digs and four assists, while Spry had two aces.

Versailles has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-19-4 record this season. As for Hallsville, their victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 17-10-3.

Versailles does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hallsville, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Skyline on the 18th.
