Volleyball Recap: Galena's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Galena entered their tilt with Glenbard North on Saturday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 2-0. The Pirates have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Galena's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Emma Ehrler, who had 21 assists and three digs. Those 21 assists gave Ehrler a new career-high.

Galena's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Glenbard North, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Galena will play host again on Saturday to welcome East Dubuque, where the match is scheduled at 2:00 p.m. As for Glenbard North, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Durand at 1:25 p.m. on Saturday.
