Football Game Preview: Myrtle Beach Seahawks vs. Berkeley Stags

The Myrtle Beach Seahawks will head out on the road to square off against the Berkeley Stags at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Myrtle Beach is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They had just enough and edged out West Florence 24-21. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Seahawks.

Meanwhile, Berkeley humbled Westwood with a 48-20 victory. The Stags might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 28 points or more this season.

Myrtle Beach better keep an eye on Henry Rivers. He was instrumental in Berkeley's win, rushing for 50 yards and two scores, while also throwing for 104 yards and one TD. Lj Washington helped out on the ground, rushing for 105 yards.

Berkeley was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 295 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in August.

Myrtle Beach's record now sits at 8-3. As for Berkeley, their record is now 9-2.
