Softball Recap: Baldwin Highlanders vs. Canon-McMillan Big Macs        
        
		
            
 Baldwin lost against Canon-McMillan back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Thursday. The Baldwin Highlanders fell  7-3 to the Canon-McMillan Big Macs. Baldwin has not had much luck with Canon-McMillan recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
 Baldwin saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Reese Temme, who  went 1-for-3 with two  RBI and a  double.
 On Canon-McMillan's side,  Brooke Bumer looked comfortable as she  pitched 1.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits.
 On the hitting side,  Sam Merkle was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.  McKenna Severin was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs.
 Baldwin's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Canon-McMillan, their victory bumped their record up to 6-10.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Baldwin is on the road again  on Tuesday to play Butler at 4:00  p.m. As for Canon-McMillan, they will  square off against Seneca Valley at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Canon-McMillan will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  runs each  matchup than the last.
