Baseball Recap: Palm Springs Takes a Loss

Palm Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Westminster Lions, falling 13-0.

Palm Springs saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Eads, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Palm Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Westminster, their win bumped their record up to 6-7-1.

Coming up, Palm Springs will head out to face off against Santa Ana at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. The Saints have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.43 runs per game on average), something the Indians will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Westminster, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against La Quinta at 3:00 p.m. The Aztecs will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight.
