Softball Game Preview: Danville Admirals vs. Burgin Bulldogs

Danville is on a four-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Burgin a four-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Monday. The Danville Admirals will be playing at home against the Burgin Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Danville came up short against Lincoln County on Friday, falling 21-3.

Danville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jazelynn Doneghy, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Madilyn Derry also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen bases of the season.

Meanwhile, Burgin lost 8-2 to Danville Christian Academy on Thursday.

Burgin's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Danville, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.
