Huron came tearing into Tuesday's contest with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Crestview Cougars. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

Huron never let Crestview on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-14, 25-22.

Huron was led to victory by Adelyn Van Sickle and Avery Bork. Van Sickle had 14 digs and two assists, while Bork had nine digs. That's the most digs Bork has posted over her last six matches.

Crestview's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lena Kahl, who had 16 digs and two assists. Kahl is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Huron's win bumped their record up to 19-5. As for Crestview, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 16-8.

Coming up, Huron will take on Archbold at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Crestview does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
