Basketball Recap: Horton Takes a Loss

If Horton was feeling good fresh off their 55-25 takedown of McLouth last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Horton Chargers fell to the Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy Ravens 39-33. The defeat continues a trend for the Chargers in their matchups with the Ravens: they've now lost five in a row.

Horton's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Coming up, Horton is taking a road trip to face off against Jefferson County North on Tuesday. As for Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Jackson Heights.
