Volleyball Recap: Magnolia Science Academy Reseda Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Magnolia Science Academy Reseda posted their closest victory since August 22nd on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Lake Balboa College Prep Cougars 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Cougars back in September, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

Magnolia Science Academy Reseda took Lake Balboa College Prep into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-20, 25-14, 14-25, 20-18.

Lake Balboa College Prep's loss came despite strong showings from Molly Yeagley and Nare Orujyan. Yeagley had ten digs, while Orujyan had 18 digs, 11 kills, and six aces.
