After only one run in their last match, Indian Springs made sure to put some runs up on the board against Mountain View Christian on Monday. The Thunderbirds were the clear victors by a 24-12 margin over the Saints. Considering the Thunderbirds have won six contests by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Indian Springs let Jadyn Guerino and Acelynn Flanigan run wild. Guerino got on base in four of her six plate appearances with nine stolen bases and four runs, while Flanigan got on base in four of her six plate appearances with nine stolen bases and four runs. Those nine stolen bases gave Guerino a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Peighton Nield, who got on base in four of her six plate appearances with eight stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Indian Springs is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.4 runs over those games. As for Mountain View Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Indian Springs beat the Saints by a score of 18-2 later that day.
