Flag Football Recap: Panorama Piles Up the Points Against Chavez

While Panorama put up some points on Monday, the same can't be said for Chavez. The Pythons breezed past the Eagles to the tune of 28-0. The Pythons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Panorama's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Niria Prudencio. She is on a roll when it comes to sacks, as she's now posted at least one in each of the last 14 games she's played. Camila Maldonado got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Panorama's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 29.3 points over those games. As for Chavez, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-10-2.

Panorama has already played their next game, a 42-0 win against Van Nuys on the 16th. As for Chavez, they will challenge North Hollywood at 2:30 p.m. on the 22nd. The Huskies' defense has only allowed 13.4 points per game this season, so the Eagles' offense will have their work cut out for them.
