Sandhills/Thedford had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Sutherland Sailors with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-12, 25-15.

Sandhills/Thedford's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Grace Johnston, who had 18 assists and three aces. Johnston is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Johnston wasn't the only good servers: Sandhills/Thedford was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in six consecutive matches.

Sandhills/Thedford's record now sits at 17-3. As for Sutherland, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-17.
