The Trinity Hillers will venture away from home to take on the Albert Gallatin Colonials at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Monday, Trinity sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over Penn-Trafford.

J.R. Rieg looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. He is becoming a predictor of Trinity's success: when he allows at most three earned runs the team is 2-1 (and 2-4 when he doesn't).
At the plate, Trinity saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Derek Falvo, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. That run marked the first that Falvo scored this season.
For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Albert Gallatin and Laurel Highlands have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. The Colonials came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 8-4. The Colonials haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Michael Dunham and Jason Myers made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Dunham tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Myers pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off eight hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. At bat, Dunham went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI, while Myers scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kanyon Sutton, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Matt Malinsky, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-4.
Albert Gallatin hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Laurel Highlands struck out seven times.
Trinity's record now sits at 4-5. As for Albert Gallatin, the win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 4-6-1.
Everything went Trinity's way against Albert Gallatin in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Trinity made off with a 10-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hillers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
