Basketball Recap: Carlisle Comes Up Short

Carlisle fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Oakwood on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 62-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oakwood Lumberjacks. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (56), the Indians still had to take the loss.

Carlisle's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Oakwood, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Carlisle will welcome Eaton at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Eaton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Carlisle likes a good challenge. As for Oakwood, they will face off against Madison at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
