McDonald lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Jackson-Milton, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Monday's contest. The Blue Devils blew past the Bluejays 13-2 on Monday. The win was familiar territory for the Blue Devils, who have now won five matches in a row.

Aubrey Evans made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sophia Pecchia, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Gianna Mancini was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

McDonald always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

McDonald's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-4.
