Baseball Recap: Tulpehocken's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Tulpehocken can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Steelton-Highspire Steamrollers with a sharp 17-2 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Trojans needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

The team relied heavily on Jared Baer, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Carson Snyder, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

The win got Tulpehocken back to even at 1-1. As for Steelton-Highspire, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
