Volleyball Recap: Watsonville Extends Winning Streak to Four

Watsonville had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt St. Francis on Tuesday. The Wildcatz put the hurt on the Sharks with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Wildcatz, who have now won four games in a row.

Watsonville walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21, 25-5.

Watsonville's victory bumped their record up to 14-8. As for St. Francis, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Watsonville will challenge rival Oakwood at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, St. Francis is set to square off against their familiar foe Anzar on Thursday.
