Volleyball Recap: Twin Peaks Classical Academy Comes Up Short

Twin Peaks Classical Academy lost against Ascent Classical Academy back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Timberwolves came up short against the Guardians, falling 3-0. Considering the last time the Timberwolves couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-10, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Twin Peaks Classical Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ari Esch had 14 digs. Esch has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last four times she's played.

Twin Peaks Classical Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for Ascent Classical Academy, their victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Twin Peaks Classical Academy is set to face off against their familiar foe Loveland Classical at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Ascent Classical Academy will challenge rival Two Roads Charter School at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
