Faith Baptist Christian Academy saw some tournament action on Friday. They came out on top against the Franklin Road Christian Minutemen by a score of 59-46. Give the Crusaders' offense some serious credit: that high-scoring performance was actually the fewest points they've scored all season.

Faith Baptist Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Grant Frazier led the charge by putting up 14 points and six assists. Frazier is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Joseph Fleming was another key player, shooting 46% from the field on his way to 14 points.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Faith Baptist Christian Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Franklin Road Christian only racked up seven.

When it comes to explaining why Franklin Road Christian lost, don't look at Pierre DeShields. Despite the final result, he went 5-for-11 en route to 12 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Matt Robinson, who posted four points and 14 boards.

The victory made it two in a row for Faith Baptist Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 6-1. As for Franklin Road Christian, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Faith Baptist Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 60-37 win against West Florida Baptist Academy on the 22nd. Franklin Road Christian has also already played their next matchup (against Varsity Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
