Basketball Recap: West Morgan Comes Up Short

West Morgan lost against Good Hope back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The West Morgan Rebels fell 42-31 to the Good Hope Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Rebels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 131st, while the Raiders are ranked 17th).

West Morgan has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season. As for Good Hope, they pushed their record up to 17-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

West Morgan has already played their next match, a 59-42 win against Brewer on the 16th. As for Good Hope, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-54 victory against East Lawrence on the 16th.
