Volleyball Game Preview: Adams-Friendship Green Devils vs. Westfield Area Pioneers

The Adams-Friendship Green Devils will face off against the Westfield Area Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Adams-Friendship has three straight victories, Westfield Area has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Adams-Friendship will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Wautoma, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Green Devils walked away with a 2-0 win over the Hornets on Saturday.

Adams-Friendship easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-12.

Adams-Friendship can attribute much of their success to Kerrigan Danowski, who had 12 digs and two assists, and Piper Moyer, who had ten kills, six aces, and three digs. That's the most aces Moyer has posted since back in August of 2024.

Meanwhile, Westfield Area came up short against Nekoosa on Saturday and fell 2-0.

Westfield Area's loss dropped their record down to 5-23. As for Adams-Friendship, their victory bumped their record up to 20-10.

Everything went Adams-Friendship's way against Westfield Area when the teams last played back in September, as Adams-Friendship made off with a 3-0 win. Do the Green Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pioneers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
