Baseball Game Preview: Martensdale-St. Mary's Blue Devils vs. Lenox Tigers

Martensdale-St. Mary is 9-1 against Lenox since June of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Blue Devils will head out to take on the Tigers. Martensdale-St. Mary's will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

On Saturday, Martensdale-St. Mary's beat Earlham 7-2.

Meanwhile, Lenox waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Raiders 9-7.

Martensdale-St. Mary's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 28-5. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Lenox, their victory bumped their record up to 20-9.

Martensdale-St. Mary's came out on top in a nail-biter against Lenox in their previous matchup back in June, sneaking past 8-7. Will the Blue Devils repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
