Baseball Recap: Vardaman Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Vardaman couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Biggersville Lions on Tuesday. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jack Moore made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one stolen base. Cooper Easley was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Vardaman's loss dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Biggersville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-14.

As of now, neither Vardaman nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
