Baseball Recap: North Shore Takes a Loss

North Shore fell victim to King and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 1-0. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

North Shore dropped their record down to 3-18 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for King, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-18-1.

Looking ahead, North Shore will square off against Summer Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Mustangs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for King, they will be playing at home against Channelview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
