Softball Recap: Ray Comes Up Short

Ray fell victim to Flour Bluff and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 12-0 to the Flour Bluff Hornets. The Texans just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Ray's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Flour Bluff, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Ray will take on Gregory-Portland at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Gregory-Portland's pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so Ray's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Flour Bluff, they will challenge Alice at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
