Softball Recap: Navajo Prep Beats Hatch Valley for Their Tenth Straight Win

It's playoff time, and Navajo Prep had no trouble coming through when it counted. They won by a run and slipped past the Hatch Valley Bears 6-5. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

The team relied heavily on Kira Begay, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and three runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March. Isabella Yazzie was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Navajo Prep's victory bumped their record up to 19-5. As for Hatch Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-15.

Navajo Prep wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 18-0 loss against West Las Vegas on the 7th. Hatch Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
