Forest Hills Eastern is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Michigan's top teams: Catholic Central, who was ranked seventh at the time (Forest Hills Eastern was ranked 18th). The Hawks never let the Cougars get on the board and left with a 3-0 win on Tuesday. Forest Hills Eastern might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, East Grand Rapids and Forest Hills Northern finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Tuesday.

Forest Hills Eastern's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. With that draw, East Grand Rapids' record moves to 2-0-2.
