Volleyball Recap: Vinemont Takes a Loss

Vinemont lost against Good Hope on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 2-1. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Vinemont started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-26, 25-16, 15-11.

Vinemont now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Good Hope, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Vinemont will challenge Pennington at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Good Hope, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Hayden on the 23rd.
