Soccer Recap: Oswego Comes Up Short

Oswego faced Naperville North in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Huskies who were credited with the win. The Naperville North Huskies got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Oswego Panthers' one. Oswego haven't had much luck with Naperville North recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Oswego's defeat dropped their record down to 13-2-1. As for Naperville North, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, Oswego and Naperville North will both be playing Lincoln-Way East the next time they take the pitch. The Panthers will head out to face the Griffins at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Huskies will host them at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
