Baseball Recap: Normandy Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Normandy's offense. They lost 6-0 to the Dover Crimson Tornadoes on Monday. The loss leaves the Invaders still looking for their first win of the season.

Normandy got a good showing from Evan Lucas, who struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and only one walk).

At the plate, Normandy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Victor Reyes, who went 2-for-4 with one double. Those two hits gave Reyes a new career-high.

Normandy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Normandy will venture away from home to face off against Trinity at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Dover, they will head out to square off against New Philadelphia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
