Softball Recap: Brownstown/St. Elmo Takes a Loss

Brownstown/St. Elmo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 15-14 heartbreaker at the hands of Odin/Patoka/Sandoval. On the bright side, the 14- run performance marked Brownstown/St. Elmo's highest-scoring matchup to date.

Brownstown/St. Elmo's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Odin/Patoka/Sandoval, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-6.

Looking ahead, Brownstown/St. Elmo will take on North Clay/Clay City at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Odin/Patoka/Sandoval, they will face off against Webber at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
