Basketball Game Preview: Fort Thomas Apaches vs. Joseph City Wildcats

Two dominant guards in Adaia Lorenzo and Audrey Neill are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Fort Thomas Apaches will challenge the Joseph City Wildcats at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Fort Thomas is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.

Fort Thomas is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They came out on top against Mogollon by a score of 50-37.

Joseph City has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 21 of their last 22 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.9 points over those games. Fort Thomas' record is now 30-5.

Fort Thomas suffered a grim 63-40 defeat to Joseph City in their previous matchup back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Joseph City's Amber Neill, who almost dropped a double-double with 20 points and nine rebounds.
