Softball Recap: Normal West Takes a Loss

Normal West fell victim to Rock Island and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 6-0 to the Rocks. The Wildcats' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Normal West saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elsah Ganschow, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Normal West's loss dropped their record down to 11-19. As for Rock Island, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Normal West nor Rock Island have any future games scheduled.
