Volleyball Recap: Notre Dame Academy Comes Up Short

Notre Dame Academy's tournament run continued when they took on Cedarburg on Saturday. The Tritons took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Tritons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Notre Dame Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Liv Waldrop had nine digs and two aces.

Notre Dame Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Cedarburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Notre Dame Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Muskego on the 20th. As for Cedarburg, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Catholic Memorial on the 20th.
