For the first time this season, Chicopee Comp will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will be playing at home against the Chicopee Pacers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
On Monday, Chicopee Comp made easy work of Sabis International and carried off an 18-5 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Colts.

Ashlyn Warwick made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. Those nine strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one RBI.
In other batting news, Audrey Mosko was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Alexis Wojcik, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.
Chicopee Comp was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .438. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in five consecutive contests dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Chicopee never let their opponents score on Monday. Everything went their way against Pathfinder RVT as they made off with a 13-0 win.
Jordyn Kazeroid was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Adeline Olbrych, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Chicopee Comp now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Chicopee, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
Chicopee Comp might still be hurting after the 22-7 defeat they got from Chicopee in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. Can the Colts avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
