Game recap: McPherson High School Football Team wins against Chapman

CHAPMAN, Kan. - After three lead changes, McPherson (Kan.) took the lead for good when Kyler Kinnamon thew a touchdown to Keaton Sorenson with 4:00 remaining in the third quarter and held on to beat Chapman (Kan.) 42-24 on Saturday.

The teams went into the locker room at halftime deadlocked at 14. The Bullpups took the lead for good on a touchdown pass by Kinnamon to Sorenson in the third quarter.

With the win McPherson extended its winning streak to seven games. MHS defeated the Cowboys 47-14 last week.

Dalton Clark stood out for the Bullpups in the win. The senior ran for three touchdowns. He has now scored seven touchdowns on the season.
