It was a good run, but Rocky Mount Prep unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the North Edgecombe Warriors by a score of 13-12. Jaguars fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Warriors since on Tuesday.

Rocky Mount Prep's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for North Edgecombe, their win ended a 16-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-8.

Looking ahead, Rocky Mount Prep will challenge Northwest Halifax at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Edgecombe, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Northampton County at 4:00 p.m. on May 1.
