Volleyball Recap: Gregory-Portland Comes Up Short

Gregory-Portland was the 2-1 winner over Arlington when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell just short of the Colts by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Gregory-Portland has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season. As for Arlington, with the victory, they broke their eight-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-14.

Looking ahead, Gregory-Portland will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Miller at 6:00 p.m. As for Arlington, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Incarnate Word on the 23rd.
