Franklin faced Independence in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Admirals put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 4-0 victory. Franklin might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by three goals or more this season.

They hit Independence with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Brevin Minor, Caleb Moss, Tristiano Alfano, and Chris Garrett.

The win keeps Franklin at an undefeated 8-0-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those four games. As for Independence, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.

Coming up, Franklin will venture away from home to face off against Siegel at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Independence, they will host Ravenwood at 7:00 p.m. on the 18th.
