Basketball Recap: Palm Bay Extends Winning Streak to Three

The Palm Bay Pirates came out on top against the Satellite Scorpions by a score of 62-55 thanks in part to Buffong, who went 9 for 15 en route to 23 points along with seven assists and five steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last three games he's played.

Deuel ?Junior? Fider was another key player, putting up seven points in addition to seven steals and five assists. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in steals.

When it comes to explaining why Satellite lost, don't look at K'Dnce Cataldo. Despite the final result, he went 7 of 17 on his way to 31 points. That was a full 56.4% of Satellite's points, marking the sixth time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Christian Mcphilamy, who scored five points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.

Palm Bay's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Satellite, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.
