Basketball Recap: Jefferson Wildcats vs. Paulding Panthers
Jefferson was the 61-34 winner over Paulding when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Jefferson Wildcats fell just short of the Paulding Panthers by a score of 31-28 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Wildcats have suffered against the Panthers since January 17, 2019.
Brooklyn Schlatter was the offensive standout of the match as she posted seven points and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrianna Mead, who earned six points.
Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Paulding, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.
